This mostly depends on where you’re at! There are actually places to skydive all over, and probably one very close to you, within a few hours drive for sure. There is a very easy way to find the closest skydiving facilty to you – 1-800-SKY-DIVE.
No matter where you are in the country, just dial up that number and you’ll be automatically connected to the closest skydiving facility to you. This works great if you ever find yourself on vacation and in the mood for a quick altitude fix!
Here is the short list of dropzones I jump at regularly, and yes, I’m painfully aware that I need to travel more, feel free to send a plane or jump tickets my way!
Skydive Tecumseh – Tecumseh, Michigan
Skydive Arizona – Eloy, Arizona
1-800-SKY-DIVE – See all skydiving locations!
Hey Jeremy,
Since you’re in the area, why don’t you come check out Plymouth Sky Sports this year, we are opening March 18 at Plymouth Municipal Airport in Plymouth Indiana (30 minutes south of South Bend).
Thanks,
Troy
Hey Troy, that sounds great! I’m always looking to check out some new airspace! Maybe a few jump tickets with my name on them… and I’ll make my way down there and give you a nice (I presume!) review on the blog!
Can you recommend any good places to get certified near Ft. Rucker / Dothan Alabama?
Thanks!
Absolutely! If I was you I’d give Skydive Alabama a call, they’ve got some really good Instructors there! http://www.skydivealabama.com/
